Passenger (P) ELDT Certification Course

Class A or Class B Commercail Drivers Liense Required

Bus Drivers must have a commercial drivers license (CDL) if you plan ot operate a vehicle designed to seat and carry 16 or more persons including the driver or 11 or more persons if operating a school bus.

If you plan to operate a single vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating of 26,001 pounds or more such as a Charter, Metro, Private or Church bus you will need a Passenger (P) endorsement certification with a Class B CDL.

If you plan to operate a combination vehicle pulling trailers with a gross combination weight rating of 10,001 pounds or more and operate a Charter, Metro, Private or Church bus you will need a Passenger (P) endorsement certification with a Class A CDL.
